On OCZ's page, they have the 2000s, already, and for the price of the 1800s everywhere else...what's up with this? And they're selling pre-unlocked 1700s, 1600s, and 1500s.

I'm not sure why it says, "XP OCed @ 1650 (2000). How can it be "OCed" as an individual processor? Do they consider it "OCed" just because it is unlocked??
"XP OCed @ 1650Mhz ( 2000+ ) the unlocking process voids AMD's warranty , we carry our own limited warranty on these CPU's."
OCed means it has been tested to that speed. Do not buy that processor for dear god. That means that it prolly wont even make it that far after a week. However, the unlocked processors do seem like a good idea since it is hard to unlock the XPs. It would be a good idea to wait to see what is the best "overclocking XP" is and then buy an unlocked version of it. I wouldnt be surprised if the 1500+ can overclock as well as an 1800+.

Yes they do rip you off and if something that you get from them brakes you are screwed.
By the way, someone named microsoft saying that they are thieves and are ripping you off sounds funny to me.:)
The reason I check there often, is because they sort out their chips by stepping.

Why would you say that? Did they rip you off?

Well if that's true, I'll glad you warned me. I was considering ordering from these people!:)

Tested to run at 1650? But isn't that the non-overclocked value of the 2000XP? Or are they simply testing the XP1800 up to 1650Ghz and calling it the XP 2000??
I have had a bad experience with OCZ which I won't go into, but suffice to say that if they were the last source of supply in the world, I'd have to suffer thru with what I now have...A more chickens**t outfit I have only rarely seen...they can stuff it as far as I am concerned...My 2 cents...

Actually I think this seems to be the case...I guess they found out the combination of sealed bridges they would need for certain multiplier defaults and fixed them, so the chip 'becomes' an XP 2000 even though it would say 1800 or whatever on the core. That's the only way they could have done it without somehow getting their hands on 2000s before everyone else. But the 1700, 1600, and 1500 all look to be legit, just unlocked.
I want to know where this view that they screw people over came from. Everyone seems to say it but nobody has any backing. I got my 1000 AYHJA Y from there, which is now dead by my own hand, but there was no shady business in the shipping or the chip itself.
Well fuzzball, I guess that you must figure those of us who had a bad deal from OCZ are just BS'ing you...you gotta do what you gotta do...or NOT...I personally HATE being run in circles and lied to, so that's it for those turkeys...Too bad. :D

Do NOT buy anything from OCZ.
They badly overrate their CPUs, you'll be luck to get within 100 MHz of their "overclocked speed". Furthermore, their customer service is horrible. Many, many people have been burned by this place. And, yes, I am speaking from personal experience. Heed my words, or you might be the next person who is screwed by them.

So when people tell you personally that they had a problem with the place, they have no backing? What do you want for proof?
Here's all the proof that I should hope you require:

But hey, feel free not to listen to us. We're just trying to save you some hassle and problems with dealing with this place. I think it's pretty unlikely that we have some strange ulterior motive to falsely slander OCZ. But hey I guess we're all full of *****.

Hey, I wasn't saying people were lying, just that I had heard no prior backing, and personally my experience with them had been good. No need for hostility, I'm checking out the comments, now.

So they've physically altered the multiplier connections. Ex., XP 1800 11.5X to a new 12.5X = XP2000 (1662.5Ghz) Anyone want to show me how to do this??;) (A7M owner with no multiplier adjustment) :(

:D If I were parting with it I would be happy to offer it to you...:p
Actually, I am just planning an upgrade of one of my other computers, currently a PIII700@866 on an Asus P3B-F.
I would love to see those XP1500's OC to the same speeds as the higher "grade" chips.
I'm planning to get:
XP1500, Epox 8KHA+, Crucial DDR
Depending of course on how well those chips manage to overclock...
By the way I bought that AYHJAR-Y chip at the Overclockerz's store...and it delivered pretty much as promised....so I have nothing bad to say about them!

That's why I had Overclockerz's on my favorites, because of the AYHJAR "Y", it's the only place I saw it. By the way, your system rocks. That is a sweet o/c. Good luck on your new system aswell!:)

I ordered a 1ghz AYHJAR and I got a AYHJA. I e-mailed them about it more than once and never got a response.
