AMD Athlon question about FSB and GFD

Ok I have an AMD Athlon Processor@900Mhz currently runnin at 1000Mhz with the help of a GFD. Now I cant get my FSB any higher then the normal 100/33Mhz using my BIOS settings. I HAVE proper cooling but as soon as I go one step further then 1000MHZ it will lock up and cause all kinds of weird things to happen. Anyone got any Ideas??

I'd say something dosn't like running at the higher FSB.

i havn't seen much sucess with slot A overclocking, sorry, slot A ones didn't get made past 1000MHz...
