msi 7800 gtx "lite" vs. regular

I'm curious about the difference between these two cards. I'm thinking about getting the "lite" because it's the cheapest 7800 for sale atm.

A couple other questions I had were how cpu limited will I be with an oced 3000+ venice using this card and do you think the prices will go up or down after the 7800gt comes out. Thanks :)

looks to me like lack of the game. "Chronicals of Riddick" Other than that they are the same, sans the colored box. Pretty much anything is cpu liminited in certain games, even the people with 3ghz+ fx's. Overclocking your cpu would help reduce its effects but I wouldn;t be too concerned its a hell of a card.

My 3.4 ghz P4 at 800mhz bus is the limiting factor in my system with a 7800gtx. AMD are better gaming cpus, so you should be fine. Bus clock speeds are key, the card requires a lot of memory bandwidth.

Hmm one says OEM and only has the card, documentation, and cables in a plain box. I wonder what the difference is :rolleyes:...

lite just means the packaging,it comes in a white box,with all cables, adapters and driver cd, i got one last week and the actual card is then salme as the the one in the retail packaging same part numbers and all
it runs 430/1.2 but i got mine to 530/1.4 with watercooling
im getting another in a week or so for sli goodness
