Hey guys, is there any way to keep my MSI 6800GT from throttling?

I've tried everythingin attempts to clock this thing up to 6800Ultra. Curently it's running with an NV5, with a modified bios, I've increased the core to 1.4v, clocked it to 400/1100, and forced the fan to run at 100% voltage.

I run RTHDRIBL, and occasionally the system pauses, only to resume in 20 seconds. I'm 96% sure this is the throttle trying to kick in. Temps seem ok, never passing 70C full load, (I have poor case airflow).

On this card, I've tried everything. Help.

Um, well the official core slowdown threshold for my 6800gt is 135C, and you're not seeing any sort of temps like that. If it does start thermal throttling for some reason at a lower temp there's probably a good reason for it and I'd let it be.

I would truly consider fixing your air flow problem as far as wire management and and maybe fans depends on what you have offcourse. Ive seen huge decrese in temp just from this task. Juat my 2 cents

I've done as much as I can to this case with the airflow. I hesitate to cut anymore metal from this beast.

Any other ideas?
