Well take this one for what it's worth, However there is already a thread over on Guru3d claiming the extra pipes can be unlocked on the 78gt. If it is indeed true the Gt may be a pretty hot card for the next few weeks since Monarch is starting them out at $399 for the eVGA and $415 for the BFG O.C.

If you plan to softmod I would get the first revisions, which are the ones that they are selling now because it will be much harder to do it down the road.
