I know this deals not as good as the recent ATI.com deal for the refurb'ed XT PE , but thought it was worth a good mention non-the-less ...
TigerDirect has the Connect3D X800 XT for a new lower price of $249.99 with NO rebates . Seems like a pretty good deal to me ! LINKY (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1476662&sku=C261-6064%20R&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM945AM) .

its an okay deal but why not at least order the ATI X800XT PE if you need an agp card and if it does not ship by date you need by the Connect unless it is on a time limit sale as well. Plus with ATI you get a better warranty........

I was gonig to jump on the Refurb as well from ATI. However how can I wait for them on a pre-order that has no date and on refurbs compared to a new card. According to most comparisons between the XT and PE version their is very minute differences between the two. I even saw one benchmark that had the XT as the winner when they were both overclocked.
Oh and I am not on a time limit, but I cannot give them a credit card number and say "Send it and Charge it when you get it." I just need to know when things are coming and I am going to be charged. I figure the connect3d is less likely to have problems than a refurb as well, even if it is from ATI.

Right now this is a great deal considering the hoopla that went on over at ZZF this weekend, that is where the deals were with free shipping. The ATI deal is still excellent as I am sure you will see cards by end of month
BUt if you need a card right now thats a great deal
