I need to build the cheapest amd64 system possible, for office use. It doesnt need anything fancy. I would preffer a motherboard with onboard video, if not a cheap agp card. The system would require 512-1gig of ram. And possible a dvd burner not a must. If anyone got any advice please support me.
Thanks

This will be more than enough for an office PC.
All prices from Neweeg...

Sempron 64 2600+ - $67
EPoX EP-8HMMI-A - $55
Crucial 512MB (PC 3200) - $44
WD800JD 80GB ATA150 - $53
NEC ND-3520A BG DVD Burner - $39
POWMAX CP808PL Case 350W - $40 (inc. shipping)

Total $300
Just add monitor, KB and mouse.

yeah, why are you going with a (relatively) expensive case, 939, and a separate video card if you're looking for the cheapest system?

Like what kind of office stuff? Word and internet?

If so, then Id say the sempron would do fine, but if you want to OC it, then get the venice.

I don't think you'll really need 1gb of ram either if it's just for an office PC, or such an expensive hard drive at that.

why not go with an onboard video, saves you money, i got an ecs skt 939 board from new egg and works fine with the system i built. it was about 69$ when i bought it, good luck
