Hey all,

I just finished building my PC last night and I was wondering if there are any programs I should run to break in (not like a robber, like what you do to a baseball glove) my PC. Thanks.

Folding@Home ;)

or let prime95 or memtest run over night. Checkout Sen's Burn-in Technique. That thread has alot of useful info.

Just so you know, the burn in techniques you see discussed typically are used with the intention of improving your overclock. Unlike a new baseball glove, your pc will run just fine without being burned in. It will take a little while for your thermal interface material to settle in, but that should only have a mild affect on your temps, and no perceivable affect aside from that.
