big trouble plz help

hey guys. Well the hdd in my moms laptop died. I bought a new one and just got done installing it. Only problem is, when i press the power button, the blue power light flashes on and then off. Nothings shown on the screen, nada. Im not getting any power to this laptop. I pressed the reset button on the bottom thinking it might help, but still no luck...

Problem: no power to laptop after hdd instalation.

lol i got it to work. Anywho, WarriorII in laptops for hdds there are no wires =D, well atleast not in mine.
