Anyone every have this problem? I've googled it to death and can't figure it out.
I got a copy of Far Cry with my BFG 6800OC and I never bothered playing it until now. Problem is 'playing' isn't really accurate, the game doesn't load! I get a 'error occurred, send error report' deal every time I try and play. I've tried it patched, unpatched, tried the latest nVidia drivers, rolled back to version 67.66, etc. with no luck. I'm lost.
The weird part is the game *has* loaded twice. The first time was rather random and the second was right after a re-install. I quit, tried to play again, and it started crashing on load all over again.
My machine is overclocked but super-stable, and my video card isn't overclocked at all. I can tell this is specific to Far Cry, no other program gives me the slightest problems.
Any ideas?
