2x agp aopen mobo ripped!

I bought a mobo over ebay and got ripped on the model, it was supposed to have a 4x agp port and instead is only 2x. Can someone plese explain the performance difference to me, also I found i am able to increase the bus speed of the agp port from 66 mhz to 100 mhz with my cpu running at 100 mhz fsb will tyhis improve performance? or will it produce large amounts of smoke from my video card? advice would be appreciated before i try anything i may very well regret

Don't think you should run AGP at 100mhz, :)


And the dif from 2x to 4x is un-noticable, no worries there.

Make sure to leave negative feedback though, wrong model is just lying.
