just got my new x800xl pci-e up and running :attn:
I got omega and ati tool installed
how do I check the temp?
is there other program to use? I dont see anything in omega/ati tool

In the Omega Ati Tray Tools, right click on the icon then go to Hardware>Monitoring graphs. Or you can use ATI Tool (http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/).

After installing ATi Tool, click on Settings>In the drop down menu select Temperature Monitoring>And put a check on Measure card temperature
Sorry to borrow your topic. But how accurate is the temp monitor on ATI X800 series cards? (especially X800XL agp) Has no one done any research on this matter? I am just curious because I can't really trust my CPU temp readings on my mobo. (Winbond & MSI = not good :()

I think it's pretty accurate myself, and I always viewed it with Catalyst Control Center. It sucks with X850 however as they went to a red gauge instead of an actual number being shown.
