Hello. I have some corsair xms pc3200 c2pt, it has samsung tccd chips. I am not very happy with it, so i thought about trying to send it back to corsair and get a replacement. Now, do you know about corsair trading up? I know some companies do that. or would it be risky?

I wouldn't return it unless it is faulty. It's your own decision though, just don't expect anyone to tell you that it's ok.

If it runs its rated speeds, you can't RMA it. If you go to Corsair and request an RMA, they're going to want a reason. You can either lie through your teeth, or just not return it. The support at Corsair is pretty good, but usually they'll have you run some Memtest at stock speeds to verify that it's your RAM, not you. In this case, it would be you.
