I have the A7M266 MB , My Ram is showing PC-1600
I want PC - 2100 ....how can I change this ? Do I simply buy 2 256 sticks of PC-2100 ram ..do I have to change anything in the Bios settings ?

What CPU are you running? Also, do you have PC1600 RAM? If you have a 200 bus CPU, it's not always auto-enabled to clock the memory to PC2100 even if that's what's in there. If you are running PC1600 memory, you would need to buy PC2100 before being able to run PC2100, unless you want to try to overclock the memory that is... I've not played with DDR, so I'm not any expert on the situation, but those are my observations...
Peace

Right, PC1600 is the DDR equivalent of PC-100, PC2100 = PC133, PC2400 = PC150, PC2700 = PC166. So in order to run PC2100, you need to have one of the following: 1. PC2100 (or better) Module and a 266Bus Processor, 2. VERY good PC1600 Modules and a 266Bus Processor, 3. PC2100 Modules and a 200Bus processor on a mobo that lets you set memory speed @ 1/3 greater than bus speed.
