I have no idea how the hell mom and pop are supposed to use this program. I use gmail and it took me forever to set it up. I had never used outlook before. Had to do several searches to find out how to get this ball rolling where I think my mother would have given up on it already. :bang head on this program

Outlook provides setup wizards that are actually quite intuitive once you know where to find them.

Please provide specific details about what you are trying to do. Give us a step-by-step narrative of what you are doing and include any error messages which may come up. We'll then be better able to help you.

I understand the frustration. My boss sends me schedules using outlook. I use thunderbird to check my mail, but i only get blank messages with an attachment called winmail.dat. Outlook doesnt play nice with non MS email programs.

I thank you for your willingness but I maned to get it. Just took some time. I'm just saying that to use it in a lot of companies it would be nice if they made the intigration easier.

It took me a while to setup my gmail acct with Outlook too.
Even with all the troubles I've had with Outlook I still recommend it and set it up for family members that are computer illiterate because it makes checking e-mail easier for them.

I believe that he was referring to Outlook, which is a very different program.

Outlook Express is only an email client, while Outlook is a powerful integrated email, calendar, notes, contacts and task scheduling system. All parts of the system interact and can be synchronized on multiple devices including pocket PCs and winCE -enabled cel phones.
