Memory in dual mode?

When 4x512mb sticks of the same memory are used, does this make them run in dual mode?

depends on the motherboard, but yes, it should, but the problem is that your memory will generally run at 2T timings instead of 1T for a bit of a performance hit. You would be better off getting 2x1GB sticks.

If you are referring to the system in your sig, and you are thinking about adding two more sticks of 512, then that would be practical IMO...since you already running @ 2t.

Yea, that's the one. I can't run them in 1T for some reason because the comp won't POST with that setting :\
