I read the post by mrilock in the New Members Post Here Thread asking how to check the stats. In the interest of keeping the thread clean I will post that here.
First things first- Welcome to the Team!! It can take a day after you return the first work for your name to appear in the stats.
OK. That's out of the way. ;)
To check your stats yuo can go to this URL
http://foldingathome.stanford.edu/search.shtml
Type in the name that you are folding under and it will perform a search for you.
You can also check at http://www.statsman.info in the Folding@Home section. The link to our team stats there is http://www.statsman.info/foldingstats/32.html
That is a java based page. If you cannot see your name there is a scrollbar on the side of the chart where the individual stats are listed. Simply scroll down until you see yourself. The stats on the java based page can be rearranged by clicking on the headers of each column. ie to arrange by Member Name simply click on the heading that says Member Name. It's an easy way to find yourself when you are starting out. They can also be rearranged by Day Total, Week Total and any of the headings that appear there.
There is a non Java based page as well. http://www.statsman.info/foldingstats/html/32.html
It's much simpler but you don't have the ability to rearrange the columns and will have to search manually or use the Find function of your browser to search for your name.
Also- The stats are only updated once every three hours. The official stats are updated first and the Statsman stats are typically updated anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour after that and are sometimes not updated for 1/2 day or more. It is a third party stats system, but a very good one for determining team/user rank and for seeing your progress.
A new stats system will be in place soon when the new folding client is released. There is a beta version of that page. The stats on that page will be cleared once the final release is made public. There is some question as to whether the current official stats will be reset. We do not know the answer to this, but the stats systems are very much different from each other and combining them could prove to be difficult.
