Refurb worth it?

Refurb patriot XBL is $62 compared to $83 for new memory. Is that $21 dollars worth it, will the TCCD still clock nice?

Out of all things I wouldn't trust refurbed ram. It is worth the extra 20$ to know that you will be getting a good stick.

hell to the no. do not buy refurb'ed ram. it is tough enough to get 'brand new' ram to run at spec.

Think about it - someone returned that ram for a reason, and NewEgg states that they DON'T test returns!

A good chance of getting someone else's headache!

it also might not carry through with the warranty by patriot, but im not sure.

this is really the only question i have... buy the ram, if it doesnt work, rma it to pdp but i dont think it has a warrenty.. i donno

IMO, the likelihood of hassles and poor performance outweighs the 20 bucks several times over.

refurbed RAM has been great to me. I've had more trouble with new RAM!
