Hey guys,
I am sending in my motherboard for an RMA and have to take out the xp-120 and processor. How exactly do I do this without the processor flipping out or anything. Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.

you do it carefully !

Did you put the xp120 on ?

When i put it on I clip 2 clips at a time, diagonally across from eachother.

Same when i take it off.

The chip should not flip out, as its held in by the socket.

If you can get at the 2 screws that hole the XP 120 bracket on the mobo, then take those to screws out and you can just lift the XP120 and the bracket its clipped onto right off the cpu.

I dont think thats possible though, i wasnt able to get at them when I had to take it off my gigabyte board.
