Well, just pushed the limit once again!!!
My intel is at 966Mhz!!!:)
Havent had time to test it yet, but running Seti or Folding @home gets my Cpu at 43º C and my board at 34ºC.

FSB-138 Mhz
Ram- 109 Mhz 3/4 of FSB
PCI- 35 Mhz
CpuCore- 1.8v

Ill continue to test it, and if continues to run stable, ill push it a little more!

is thier any way you can get the RAM to run at 133FSB? you'll see a nice preformance gain from that.

Yes i know what you mean, i could push my ram to FSB speed, 138Mhz! But ive just bought a 256 ram PC133 stick and installed it!

I will try to use that speed but im not sure it will work!
Its generic ram allthought it has Infineon chips in it!
Ill give a go at it!

Let your ram run free !!!
As "jay" posted earlier...you will see much improvement.
It may be a generic type of ram....but they almost always can run
at speeds over 133.
Mine for instance ( also generic ) runs at 154mhz !!
Give it a try.

My P3 550e FCPGA would do that once in awhile when I had it on a Soyo 6VCA trying to clock it to anything over 770MHz. I'd knock it back one FSB setting and it would be fine. The same CPU on an ASUS CUSL2 would run at 803MHz without problems if the ambient temp was reasonable.

I ran my PIII at 966 for 3 days in a roll w/ seti and folding @home without a problem!

Last night i downloaded Nvidia lastest drivers and installed them!
The problems started aafter i reboot!

Lowered to 700 Mhz and still the same!

Damm Nvidia drivers....

Ok, got old Nvidia Drivers working and Registry error corrected!
Norton Windoctor did all the work for the registry problem!!!:)

So Im back to 966 Mhz, and memory settings are at 138 Mhz, same as FSB!

For now seems to be working fine!!!
Ill be Folding and seti_ing so i can push my rig!

Very good o\c Crow !!!
Keep trying, you are very close to the top.
Somewhere arround 1,85-1,90vcore and 145 fsb is the limit.

You havent said anything about airflow in your case, with some
good case coolers....have you?

Arctic Silver II definetely !!

Take care,and keep us posted
