I dunno how many of you have heard of Floppix, but it's basicly a mini-linux that fits on two 3.5 floppies. I have a spare 5.25 drive around, and disks for it, and was wondering if I could get floppix (or an equivalent) onto these guys. That'd be really cool if i got it working (SETI box wasting no HD, or monitor) :D
So ya think it's possible? and how?
You would just have to give it a try. 5.25 disks have a little less space but you could get lucky. But why not just get a 3.5 drive. I get them for 15 bucks locally and it is a much nicer format then 5.25

Yeah, there's a place nearby that sells 3.5's for like $5 used. I was just thinking it'd put my really old floppies to use... Seeing that they ARE so old, i'll just go down there whenever possible. Thnx
