I bought this card recently and just gave ati tool a try default clocks are 520 core/540 memory. I was able to get the core to 570 without a problem and the memory to 610 on this clocks the heat runs at 56c.What i would like to know is if i were to flash my card from his x850xt bios to ati x850xt bios or another x850xt bios would overclocking this card reach higher numbers I have yet to buy artic silver 5, but i am thinking about it. Thanks all for replys :p

I beleive you can force flash it, but I am not going to make a guarentee. But...why does it matter? Those are decent scores, if I am not mistaken.

Probably not going to get any better clocks with different bios. For the most part the timings are gonna all be the same unless you find some weird special addition bios. I'd just overclock the card and mess with the timings in atitool if it means that much to you.

Thanks for reply guys since a bios flash is risky and might not make a difference i
will just buy some artic silver 5 for the card and thats it max it out with that.
One question though is there anything better outhere as a cooling compound than artic silver 5?
