broken downloads

howdi.

can anyone tell me if firefox supports broken downloads. i have a wireless connection that keeps disconnecting, and when im trying to download big files, it buggers the download. will firefox carry on where it left off in the download, or will it need to restart downloading?

if it doesnt support this, can you suggest any good freeware that will carry on broken downloads.

I believe it should resume the transfert, but i'm not 100% positive.

I heard some good things about getright, but i never actually used it.

A LONG tim ago i used Go!Zilla, but now i think it's been overrun by spywares&Co so i'd avoid it.

Hopefully getright will do if Firefox don't

Firefox won't resume broken downloads automaticly, you must leave page with download link open and start download again, don't bother with this, use getright or some other download manager.
