Wow this is really interesting, apparently the ASUS board tightens the BIOS timings, and overclocks your overclock (or stock FSB also) by 2mhz...

Most of them do it nowadays. My Abit AA8XE runs my CPU "default" at 204 FSB.

Yup 204 as well here on my AA8XE. I always thought it was due to my ram being pc4300

Because when it gets reviewed, it looks like their is a preformance difference between their board and the compition.

I don't really see what the fuss is all about?

When a reviewer reports that the max fsb attainable was x MHz, the x includes the boost, right? If CPUz detects the boost, I see no problems with this. Apart from from a lame ateempt at scoring points at stock settings, this won't have any impact in the enthusiast scheme of things.

So a 200 to 202 fsb gain is what, 1.0%? I'll take all the performance I can get but there are alot of other factors that come in front of a 1% performance gain.
