RAM OC-ing. Tigher Timings or Higher Freq?

100% agree, although those are looser timings then I would ever really consider "tight" so I figure go for the higher FSB.
 
I'd say the 270mhz would be better. Once the timings get loose like the first one, then its not much of a performance loss after that. Just what I've noticed anyways.
I would agree with that. The 40mhz gain should offset any loss you'd see by going from 3 to 4 on those timings. If it was 2-2-2 to 2.5-4-4, that'd be a different situation.
 
the higher frequency @ 270 will net you more improvement overall. Both on the CPU and the memory side. the looser timings will impact a bit but with the extra mhz it will be more then compensated.
