I have a problem I was hoping someone could help me with. I have a 6800 le and when I go into the nvidia control panel it says for agp PCIx0. I was wondering why it wasnt showing 8x agp? I have 8x agp support enabled in the bios. And also noticed I had it shows BUS: PCIx0 when I had my 5200 a few weeks ago. What could be the problem? And was wondering if it is operating slow since it says PCIx0.

What motherboard? Download the latest chipset drivers and install. I had the same problem, and that fixed it.

FYI- PCI mode is veeery slow compared to 8x AGP.

WOW Man thank you so much! I fixed the problem. I've had it like that since I got my 6800. Hopefully I will notice a big differnce. I tried the live update but nothing was coming up. Then I noticed it only worked in IE, it was opening it up in firefox. I ran the update and install the nforce drivers now its in 8x. Thanks again!

Yeah, I had that problem when I was running my Ti4200, I ran it in PCI mode for 6 months!! All my games ran much better in AGP mode. If you've been running it in PCI mode for too long, you'll notice a difference in games.

Im having a similar problem, When i click on system, then hardware, then device manager and pick display adapters, when i choose properties for the nvidia Geforce4 ti 4600 is says its location is PCI bus 1. Is this right?

Thanks

Well, under device manager, that's probably right. Go to display under the control panel. Then settings -> advanced. Under one of those tabs it should say what 'bus' your runnining at. If it's says AGP 2/4/8x then that's good, if it says PCI then you need to install your chipset drivers.
