Heres the deal broS

i have a 2.4 celoron+micro atx mobo, dual layer dvd drive, 160 giga hard drive.

I want to create a myth tv system for my Optimum online cable. I have sony cable box. I have no linux experience. What do i need to buy and do? I like the lian li case that is thin and small for 140$,

Ok the guys from the screensavers on tech TV make a show called systm.

Download episode 2 they have a complete guide about setting up myth TV and what to do, I think it will get you up and running.

A finall question to any one that is listening, I have Optimum online cable with a box, i am about to buy all the parts for the system and i want to know if this kinds of setup will work with my cable?

are you sure you were at the right page (not clicking on the episode links)

If you have bittorrent you can try one of those but I personally prefer the http links try the large WMV and use windows media player to play it, they discuss what kind of hardware you need as well for your box.
