I looked around the forum and all i could find was this stuff called purple ice, but ppl say it smells bad and it gets cloudy since it is an additive. Does anyone know any actual antifreeze that is purple? heh i tried googling...nothing popped up. If not im thinking of gettin VW/Audi antifreeze and buying some frozen cpu uv red dye. Has anyone tried mixing these two and got a good color of purple?

***edit***
hmm i found this purple uv dye (http://svc.com/uvsecowadyef.html) What antifreeze should i mix it with to retain the purple? Is there such a thing as clear antifreeze?

I can't vouch for any of the dyes as I don't use them. I do however have blue Audi AF and I'll tell you, it's blue as can be. I'm not sure you'd get the results you want by mixing colors (may end up being crap and just turning brown). The purple dye looks legit; so if purple's you game, then I'd say go for that.

Why not mix Zerex and the VW/Audi anti-freeze?

I use water wetter mixed with UV blue and it comes out a very nice shade of purple.

hmm isnt zerex pink? Heh dont really want to use water wetter. If i was going to use something like water wetter i would just use purple ice :D

anyone know what antifreeze i should mix with the purple dye so it would still come out purple?

Search for my thread over @ Xtremesystems and you'll find a link in that thread that will steer you away from using Purple Ice.
