cpuid stepping code

I know how to read the stepping code on a processor. How do u read that code that wcpuid gives u? How does it compare to the one on the proc?

WCPUID and the like really give you pretty generic cpu codes that represent only the basic family and design revision of the chip, but as far as i know you cant tell an AXIA from an AYHJA just based on a WCPUID string set. the id strings i think tell you stuff like wether its an A <200 mhz> or C <266 mhz> chip
