O.K guys. I can blow around £100 to £120 (great british pounds) on a graphics card. I don't care what make it is (nVidia or ATI) and I want the very best performance in gaming possible. Can someone please advise me as to what card would be best for the money as I'm going mad trying to decide...
It really needs to be AGP (unless anyone knows where to get a PCI-E MoBo cheap?).
I currently have a 2.8ghz P4, 1gb RAM, Audigy 2 sound card, 5 40GB HDDs.

Many thanks, Steve.

edit: I have converted the amounts into U.S Dollars in case that helps... I can blow about $180 to about $215. :)

So you reckon the 6600GT is the best for me? Or is that the best I can do with an AGP slot?

O.K, so I'm lookin around the 6600GT range now. Can anyone advise me on the next few cards up from this? (Just so I get an idea of price vs. performance on a range of cards).

WHat about this...

sorry to be a pain but got another question...

I have been searching for the best price on a 6600gt and came accross a 6600 Inno3D. It's a 256mb card. WHat's best, the 6600GT or the Inno3D?

I'm not 100% sure what an Inno3D is, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's a 6600Vanilla, making the GT a better card.

Well the model is the "GeForce 6600 256 Meg Inno3D". The picture on the box shows "G2-Force 6600". Here is the link...

It's the third one down.

I came up with this...
http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=8369&GroupID=27
or this
http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=8682&GroupID=27
From the guys I used to like dealing with when I was in the UK.

Nvidia-wise:

7800GTX > 7800GT > 6800GT > 6800 > 6600GT > 6600 > 6200
