Hi everybody!!!

I'm pretty new here and this is my very 1st post!!! :)

I would like to overclock my Celeron D 2.4ghz CPU but I've been looking around trying to find out how to do so but I'm unable to mainly because my motherboard is a MSI P4MAM-V and I haven't been able to find information on how to overclock on that motherboard.

Also I slightly concerned with the temperature on the PC, I've got MBM5 running and it says that my CPU temperature is 77C and the system temp is 41C but on the BIOS it says that it's 41C on the CPU and 42C System. I dunno whether this is normal or not and what should I do.

Could someone please guide me on overclocking my CPU?

I will greatly appreciate it.

My specs:

CPU: Celeron D 2.4ghz Prescott
Motherboard: Micro-Star P4M266-8233
Bios: Phoenix Tech 6.00PG
RAM: 512MB Ram DDR-SDRAM 266Mhz ProSavage DDR
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce MX440 with AGP8X 128MB Ram.
HDD: Maxtor 6B160PO 160GB
Win Xp Pro

Cheers! :)

WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! :welcome:
I'd say the bios would be more accurate than MBM especially since the temps seem a little too high. I'd start by looking around the bios and kinda getting the feel for it.
