I'm tryin to get a 1.13 266 fsb to go past the 1.2 mark. It runs fine O/C'd @ 1.2. When ever I set it to 1.33 (10x133) & restart, I end up with a black screen with (windows protection error).
I have tried to boot into safe mode, but when I do it goes to automatic shut down !!

1: The temp isn't to hot (46C).
2: my V-core is set @1.8 on bios
3: This kt7a-raid board says that I'm running @1.87 v-core on the hardware monitor

What does Windows 98 have in it as a protection error?

Any answers would be appreciated --- Thanks

not all cpus are made equal...so some can go higher than others while some will not be as fast

the only thing you can do with it is a vmod to the board
that will allow higher voltage to the cpu and it's going to get you faster speeds

That I am -
Got this 1.13 to 1302mghz (9.5x136) with a 1.75 vcore. Anyone have ideas on how to improve this
Do you think I should raise the voltage a tad?
Temp right now is 47 -48 CENT.
Has anyone gotten a 1.13 higher and how may I ask?
Thanks

In your sig it mentions that your running your memory at CAS2. Have you tried backing down to CAS3?. Are you still running "Enhance CPU Performance" in the BIOS of the KT7A? If so, have you tried disabling that?
