Good laser printer?

Right now, I have a POS printer. It's like a Lexmark X83 or something. I need a good/cheap laser printer for my school work. I'm looking at anything under $150. Thanks

I was in your position a few years back. I picked up a Samsung ML-1430. I think it might have been a bit over $150, but it was less than $200 for sure. I am not sure if this model is currently available though.

I just want something that will print black and white nicely. My current printer seems to skip every other line of pixels, so all my text looks blurry.

If you don't mind used printer I'd pick up HP Laserjet 4 series. They were built like a tank. I have mine with the extra capacity 500 sheet tray and assorted 72 pins SIMM I had laying around installed.
