Hi guys. Can anyone inform me on how to get my DFI to glow since it has the UV thing? I've personally only used LEDs for my lighting and never UV lighting. But since my friend's computer looks pretty cool with his UV stuff lighted up, i thought i'd give my computer a try. Do I need a special light or something to activate it? If so, where can i get them? Thanks!

Would this work too? It appears to be in blue and is a 12" version. http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/clk12uv-22.html

No. I don't think you understand the principles of UV reactive materials. The whole point of them is to be used with UV lamps(blacklights). Regular visible spectrum ccfls do NOT work. The cables/mobo and whatever else is UV reactive, might look nice with regular lights shining on them, but they will only "glow" properly when used with blacklights.

yeah that one is very misleading cause it has uv in its name but you are looking for one that looks like its givin no light if you look at it but is very dark

I wouldnt go that far. It would seem the closer you get to the purple spectrum the more the UV materials will glow. I had bright blue CCFL that would make every UV object in the room glow at least a little. I dont know why. Also when my tv shows the blue screen instead of static everything UV in the room glows. Very odd.
