Okay peeps help me decide whether or not I should get some Redlines or VX.
Personally I would go with the Mushkin. I just love that Redline stuff
Usually people end up doing 260-265MHz with their Redlines and some are getting even as great as 270ish for 24/7 use. As I clearly stated, I'd pick the Redline :)

Get the Redlines. I just ordered them a few hours ago. They are the best tight latency sticks you can buy.

Its a trade off, which is more important to you the best customer service and warranty in the industry or potentially a few more Mhz from an average set?

still, mushkin customer service isn't much to sneeze at either.

You can't go wrong either way. Get whichever one is the best deal at the time. The Redlines seem to clock a tad bit higher than the OCZ.

how many volts you giving it?
Mushkin is great... No problems RMAing and stuff...
I had some problematic blacklines, so I RMAed, added 20 more bucks and got back xp4000 redlines :P
The reviews on them are great, all sources report 1.5-2-2-5 stable as a rock on 250mhz. Personally I have them downclocked to 200mhz at the moment running 2-2-2-5 (when I'll want to overclock I'll just buy a new psu and start bumping).
Great costumer service and the best overclocking preformance on the planet... You cant go wrong with this thingies...
PS. especially since they got the new heatsink design on the redlines... looks great and runs very cool.
i would also reccomend the redlines. mushkin's tech support/ rma department is great. i was also able to upgrade my ram to the new redlines when i rma'ed some faulty sticks

270 with tight timings is simply amazing. You would need to run TCCD over 320 to even get close. I ordered some Wednsday and wish I had them sent next day air. They are the best performing sticks around.

lol, was gonna say the same thing, there isn't any difference between CAS 2 and CAS 1.5, it is just a marketing gimmick.

Anyone have any info on the Geil One series? Looks tempting. I usually like to stray from what "everyone else" is buying :)

What about warranty? That not important to you? If I buy a set of RAM from the classifieds or ebay, its nice to have a warranty on it.

If any Mushkin RAM is bought used or sold the warranty is void. OCZ stands by the warranty no matter who owns it. Now tell me, how many of us buy and sell memory on a regular basis?
From Mushkin.com
Mushkin warrants to the first consumer purchaser that this Mushkin product, when shipped in its original container, will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees that it will, at its option, repair or exchange (with the most similar available product, refurbished or new) the defective product at no charge to the purchaser, provided:
(1) the product (including its label) has not been abused, misused, replaced, repaired or modified, and
(2) the product was properly installed and used in its recommended environment, and
(3) proof of purchase is provided.
I'm not saying that Mushkin service is bad at all, I have RMAed Mushkin RAM before myself and the service was fine. I even have a set of Redline in the mail right now, I just wanted to point out warranty differences that most people don't know and back up the first statement I made in this thread. Would you prefer to buy used RAM with or without a warranty?

Just discovered something, a month ago Mushkin's warranty page said this:
Mushkin warrants to the first consumer purchaser that this Mushkin product, when shipped in its original container, will be free from defects and agrees that it will, at its option, repair or replace (with the most similar available product) the defective product, if any malfunction should occur, at no charge to the purchaser for parts and labor within 30 days from purchase from Mushkin or an authorized Mushkin reseller, provided:
(1) the product or any part thereof has not been abused, misused, neglected, replaced, repaired or modified, and
(2) the product is still owned by the original purchaser, and
(3) the product was properly installed in the original machine for which it was purchased and used in its recommended environment, and
(4) proof of purchase is provided for product purchased through an authorized Mushkin reseller and the product is returned in its original packaging.
Notice point 2 has been removed, I wonder whats up with that?

Definetly redline. I will be getting some pc3500 sticks when i build my new rig.
Not only are they awesome in performance, but they match my red and white color scheme (along with the mobo which is red and white), and they look great.

What are you talking about? Point 2 isnt removed. Read the points as if they all made one sentence. Whats your problem with Mushkin anyway? :eh?:
Same thing with numbers removed. ---v

Guys I was just trying to let you know that OCZ and Mushkin warranty coverage is not the same, give me a break. No one seemed to believe me so I posted proof. I have nothing against Mushkin at all and I buy as many Mushkin products as the next guy. If you don’t care how the warranty service works fine, but I was only trying to help.

If you buy a use Honda/ Lexus/ Toyota will you ge the warranty from the dealer? IF you buy a used DVD player or Cell Phone will you get the warranty from Sony or Ericson?
We are trying our best to offer the best support. Dont get me wrong, OCZ is a great company. Ryan, Micky, Steve are great guys. Mushkin is doing our best as a company, as a business to service all the needs of every customer. Every company will have a flaw that some consumer here or there will not agree with. We are not perfect. We are just trying our best to survive in a very competitive business.
Like I have posted, if you have suggestions or comments, PLEASE email them to me.

They all use Winbond UTT. The difference is that they are speed binned with the best used on the 4000. The pc 4000 sticks also are covered under warranty for up to 3.5 volts. The Pc3200 and pc 3500 will OC great but you may not reach the speed of the 4000.
