Koolance block for 1/4" hose. No good unless you are using it with an Exos.

Umm, no, the koolance block (180) works VERY well with an EXOS, air cooling does not even come close. I had a 6800 over ultra speeds and it never saw over 48c.

You guys better be carefull watercooling a 7800 as they have a nasty cold bug that will drop it to that of a 5900. Why do you think I am still on air with mine

driver 77.76 or higher removes the cold bug, mine got the cold bug and I had to go to the 77.76 beta drivers to fix it.

48c is an ok temp, but for water cooling it's really not that great, my 6800GT which was over ultra speeds (420mhz) ran at 35c full load with the maze 4 block, my 7800GTX at 511mhz runs at 38-39c full load.

Alot of people STILL have the cold bug despite the newer drivers

The maze4 is a MUCH better cooler, for one it uses larger tubing. I was only saying that a Koolance 180 block will serve you much better than any air cooler. My card used to idle@52c and load close to 80c.

I use the koolance GPU block on both my 6800 and 7800. I use my old Exos to cool both my GPU's, 4 raptors, and the northbridge. Cant really compare air cooling to water even if its crappy watercooling with 1/4" tubing.

My temp gauge is Grey, no green. Always on 31c

Like I said....I'm cooling a 6800, a 7800, 4 raptors, and a Northbridge and all of this with my Exos on its lowest setting with 78f ambient temps so I don't have to put up with the noise. I'd say I'm not doing so bad.
