Ok well let me start off with what i am using the rig for... 1) Gaming 2) internet 3) minor office work. This is what i was thinking of getting...

3500 Venice http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819103533
Abit AN8-SLI http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813127207
Antec Super Lanboy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129145
Mushkin Redline PC3500 512mbx2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146389
Sapphire x800pro http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102465
500w Bluestorm PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104934

Gonna spend about $150 on a full Danger Den h20 setup cooling the cpu. I already have a 80gb maxtor hard drive i can reuse. The only reason i went with the x800pro is because i don't need a very powerful GPU just yet, i will wait to see what the new ATI video cards are gonna look and perform.

Anyone see anything on there i should change, or shouldn't buy?? LMK thanks.

Get a different motherboard. Spend about $20 more and you can get a much better Epox one.

I would not get the 3500+. If you plan on OCing, get the 3000+ or 3200+. If you don't plan on OCing and have the money, go for 3700+.

Only get the Redlines if you plan on OCing, because they run at higher frequencies and usually require active cooling. If you don't plan on OCing, you can probaly get 2GB sticks for about $80 more then the Redlines.

If you are planning to get the new ATI cards, then why not stick with onboard video for now and not waste any more. Otherwise I recommend you getting the 6800GT and you'll do great in gaming.

Well i plan to go either with teh abit board or a dfi sli motherboard. I am not set on the 3500, i might just go with the 3200 but i figured the 11x multi would be nicer with some BH type ram.

I plan on OC'ing this thing to the max.

I don't want to get onboard video because that mean's ill have to buy two motherboards, and not many people wanna b uy a mobo with onboard video so i figured that the x800pro would be easier to sell in the future.

alright.

A. 3200+ or 3000+ would be a good choice and easy way to save money.

B. get a swiftech setup for your watercooling

C. if you plan on using a blue scheme, like you did last time, the Abit might not be the choice for you, as it has red LED's

Drop down to a 3000+. It will overclock the same and you would save a bit of money. Don't buy an SLI motherboard. I would suggest the Epox NF4 Ultra. Why spend so much on RAM? If you are going to spend that much get 2GB. Get a 6800GT.

hmm 6800gt sounds tempting to me... and how well does that epox board compair to say a DFI nf4 ultra d?

From a review anandtech did the Epox was the second best overclocker and the DFI was first. I must note however that the DFI may take a little tweaking to get it to work properly. If you do not mind doing this it is the best board there is. If you do need help troubleshooting check out DFI-Street forums.

he already had a DFI board, so he knows how to tweak it like no ones business.

Epox is nearly on par with DFI in terms of OCing, but the Epox is more stable and easier. But if you already have experience with DFI and know how to troubleshoot it, then DFI is a great choice.

Yeah, I also second the recommendation of the 6800GT. You probably shouldn't spend that much on ram, it's either a low priced 1GB set or go for 2GB.
