hall of mirror effect with Q3 and voodoo5

I played quake 3 fine but team arena has a few levels with hall of mirrors is it the card or something? I don't really like it so it doesn't matter I was jsut wondering what the problem is.

for me the HOM effect was caused by texture misalignments or bad texture calls in the map itself. Since it's in TA I'd just try reinstalling first Q3, then TA then the latest patch only.

Reinstall fixes most odd Q3 problems like that for me.
