Dwl-650 Problems

ok again im bald after having regrown most of my hair OC'ng my rig.

my problem is with my dwl-650 which is not able to detect my router through the its wireless utility program. i've had no issues with this card before and i have not changed anything.

what i have done so far was to reformat my notebook and re-installed win98 se... re-installed dwl-650 drivers.. funny thing is if i use the original drivers i get the card led to light orange and green but i cant open the airplus utility to set things up.. when i use the updated drivers, i can open the airplus utility but can't see my wireless network router...

what the heck? will i be losing some more hair? PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MY HAIR...

Hi,

Configuring wireless connection and expecting to work proeprly under win98 is very hard according to my knwoledge. They are not very plug and play only plug and pray!! Check the latest drivers for the card in the manufacture web site. Do u have any updates for the windows 98se? if that so update them also. I'm not sure if microsoft suporting win98se updates still. Whsih u the best luck

thank you for your input.. but finally figured out what was wrong. was using the updated version of the dwl-650 which apparently windows 98SE did not like.
