Ok, I am going to show this new ASUS SFF I got today, the other parts are still on the way from Newegg, but here are the first pics of the beautiful T2-R.

A look inside the case (very roomy in there) with powersupply attached

I will be posting more pics and discussing the cooling of the system once the other parts get here, stay tuned!

Very very very nice indeed :D.

You do realise that it ... uhh... needs tested in the Scottish climate.. .for .. uh... stability and as such you need to post it to me once its built. :sn:

LOL, nice one! It only cost me $118 from newegg, and that is one heck of a deal. 4 USB 2.0 / SPDIF 6.1 / And all the normal ports one would expect. I cant wait to get it all built and tested out!

Yeah, not the smallest one out there for sure, but I wanted a little more room in mine then that! This one has 2 open bays and 1 closed, so adding an additional harddrive later down the road is an option. I was also planning on running a prescott in there and wanted a little more room for airflow.

So tomorrow should be the day everything else arrives, so I am stoked. I will be waiting impatiently for Fed Ex to arrive so I can get my rig started!

 all around when that happens!

Ok the system is built, installed, updated, and gamed on already. OH MY GOD the speed of this computer, lol. Counter-Strike never dips below 99, just kinda stays there all the time. World of Warcraft is now an entirely new experience going over 100 FPS, and the entire system is just faaaaaaaast!

Temps are at the moment 46c idle / 55c load / ambient 35c

I will report back with more of my findings, but this little $580 computer just kicks butt!

Oh I also wanted to mention that the computer is silent, I hear nothing at all unless a CD is spinning fast, I love this thing!

Sexeh!!

You have cut the grille's off the PSU and the top exhaust, right? Could drop temps by a *c ;)

Here are some updated pics for everyone. I have not got my new monitor yet, so please excuse the beige color messing up my look :)

Here is a pic of my temps / rails / and fan speeds (smart auto setting). I do not think heat will be a problem at all for this system, and I am impressed at how efficient the cooling is for a Prescott! Not only that but I am using the stock square pre-installed strip of epoxy that was on the thermaltake heatsink, not fancy arctic silver or ceramique. I just opened everything up and installed it right in :)
