yummy id love 700 bux to throw around......
well,
first off id try an XP but they tend to be locked so that makes it a pain in the arse to oc,
my MP came unlocked and it runs fine by itself,
the new mp-1800+ was realsed today so....
my 1.2 mp runs @ 1.533 or that aqual to a 1800+
on a thremalright SK6 with a delta 38.
id definitely go with one of those heatsinks,
my system idles at a low temp but im my thermistor is off by a bit.
i'd like to see how high u could really get........
1800 really running @ 1800 = pr of 2.2?
about that >=-)
as far as the mobo.....
well thats a hard one and i'd wait to ask someone else.
your gonna need a new case and psu.
i like the antec soho cases and enermax psu's,
btw: all the stuff i listed should be available here. (http://www.newegg.com)
GOOD LUCK!

I just got the Shuttle AK31 rev2. with a Athlon 1200 and i got the chip running at 1418 without any motherboard mods. The bios for the Shuttle is very easy to understand and easy to configure. If you go to price watch and look up motherboards You can get the AK31 for $85 dollars and the 1.2 for about for $81. Well within the 700 mark :D

*edit* this a ddr board but ram is cheap cheap right now, got pc2400 and its pretty quick....

ECC? Blea...

That's only useful in servers where you absolutely *have* to have correct data from it. In all other systems it just slows it down.
