View Full Version : Overclocking saved my video card!!!!!
I got some new ram today, as most of you know, the first dimm slot is usually blocked by the video card. I took out my video card (hastily) and knocked off a resistor. Well, I put a dab of super glue on it and it stayed in place, but the connection wasn't being made. After a few minutes of panicing, I remembered that I had a rear window defogger repair kit!!!!! Well, I put a teenie bit on either connection of the resistor, and viola!!!! Posted right up and now all is well. If I wasn't an overclocker I wouldn't have the defogger repair fit to unlock the proc and I would be out buying a new Radeon. Yippee!!

Wanted everyone to know that all is still working. I ran 3DMARK for 3 hours and it's solid as a rock. Well, time for U.T. and Q3. By the way, I like the idea Dunga Bee...:)
