Hi, i have had a 6800 ultra since november of 2004. it has never let me down. when i tried to play WoW, the graphics were REALLY messed up, like the bottom left corner was like a mix of colors, and was bent (the rest of the screen was black). i was like WTF, then thought that my game got corrupt or my little bro messed around with the folder or something. so i tried to start up BF2. SAME THING OMG. then i tried to update to the latest graphics drivers. btw, a day before i started up wow, i installed ATI TV Wonder Pro PCI tuner. so it might have somethign to do with this. but i tried to uninstall the divers for it and the same thing happened... this is really starting to **** me off cause i only have like an hour or two each day to play cause of school/work. Help!

Sounds like it's artifacting. Drop your OC back to stock and see if it goes away.

actually, my sig is incorrect, there is no ocing going on. (i had problems with omega drivers so i installed the nvidia drivers). Ya it is artifacting, only like... to the max! just the one corner is halfway visible, but it looks like the fill rate tests on the 3dmark benchmarking tool, only with darker colors.

Was it ever OC'd? VMod?

Sounds like it's bad times for your card.

Yes is was at one point overclocked, it was about 2 months ago i did it, but only for like a week, because i was getting outrageos temps. I never did a voltage mod. Well, im lucky tho, because my birthday is comming up and i am going to get so pieces for my new system (Which will be a 3200+ Venice, DFI ULTRA-D sli mobo, and an antec P-160 case or TT armor) this sucks tho, cause i wanted to use my old system as a back up system or a server, and now i have a crappy old Voodoo 3 vid card :-/ (it has SLI connecter which is a ribbon :-P ). Well, looks like its junk...

Did you install a new heatsink to the card? If yes, perhaps it was not seated properly and the card got damaged

sounds to me like the card is shot

You said you uninstalled the drivers for the ATI TV tuner, but did you clean out the remnants?

I think putting ATi and nVidia in the same case is looking for trouble. But does nVidia make a TV tuner similar to the ATI?
