I Recently got me a 1.4GHz AMD T-Bird, my idle temps are at 53C-55C with the temp inside the case beeing around 33C-35C. I got a Titan TTC-D5T HSF (http://www.titan-cd.com/d5t_n.htm) laced with Artic Silver II. Currently i only have one 80mm Sunon fan for intake in the fron and another 60mm Sunon fan for exhaust placed right behind the HSF. I couldn't find any reviews of my HSF so I am assuming that its somewhat crap but is it possible that i've smacked on too much/too little ASII? The fan on the TTC-D5T is rated at 3000RPM even though its going at a decent 3500RPM. Would a FOP-32 be sufficient to cool the chip?(i can't bare the noise of the faster fans) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

try a open case and get yourself some decent case fans like panaflo

I got a few extra 80mm fans laying around from my old case mod.....i still havn't gotten around chopin my new case up.....my main concern though is wheter the HSF is decent enoght and if a GlobalWin FOP-32 would be better, since i can pick one up quite cheap, thanks for the advice tho :D

dont even think about putting a fop32 in that cpu.....last time i tried it on my tbird 1ghz i got 52C idle

a decent cooler is the sk6 or cak38 and both with a delta fan
or also there is glaciator and it's lot more quieter
