2*6800gt or 7800gtx

OK here is my delema. I just bought a 6800gt and amd 3500 venice. Now i realized that for more money i could have gotten a better video card (7800gtx).
So i want to kno if getting another 6800gt would be worse/same/better than one 7800gtx. I still might be able to return my 6800gt so i could put that money toward 7800gtx.

I would get on 7800gtx just because it will work in every situation unlike sli, it might be rare but it can happen. Also a sli setup uses a lot more power then just a single 7800GTX. I think performance wise they are about at the same level.

ok beacause im sellingm my old computer and i might use that money for a new video card. (i actually bought a whole new comp for BF2).

I already have 2 gig corsair xms 2x1gig sticks. planning to upgrade in the futer so i got 2 1 gig instead of 4x512

Well, I think a single 7800GTX can outperform two 6800GTs in SLI. The single 7800GTX is probably on par with two 6800GT Ultras.

So I'd recommend getting the single 7800GTX, it'll yield great fps and performance rates, and even in a single card, you can still get the second 7800GTX if you have enough money later on.

Get 7800GTX, I belive 7800 was beating either 6800 ultra or 6800gt in sli setup, though I am not sure about that.

Thanks guys for the insight. Im either gonna get it now or wait awile until the new Windows comes out and get the best card out then.
