Confused.

No lock ups, no blue screens, 1.33ghz AXIA at anything over 1500 just decides to reboot on it's own.

Any idea of a fix?

It's not temputure releated, even at 1500 full load i'm only at 32-34c. Which is pretty good, I think...

It's a 1.33ghz AXIA, unlocked, on an Asus A7M266.

BTW, is there a multiplier mod, or bios for this board?

what power supply you have in that baby?

Is your voltage constant?

Ok, here's the whole system:

1.33 ghz AXIA@1500
Asus a7m266
512 Crucial pc2100
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
PNY gf3 ti500
Linksys NIC
2 60gig Fujitsu HD's
HP Burner/Kenwood CD-ROM
350 watt Power supply.

And Windows XP is the OS

Voltage is 1.792-1.808... I've seen at as low, and as high as that in the last 10 mins.

ive been getting similar problems with my PC.
My specs are,

amd 1.3 Athlon CPU, not overclocked,
asus a7m266 motherboard,
256 MB crucial pc2100,
asus geforce 2 32MB,
soundblaster Platinum soundcard,

Sometimes after mine resets itself, it beeps for about 1 second then 1 sec of silence over and over. Sometimes it would boot back up after several attempts, but now, its seems to have gone for good!
Now ive had to resort back to my sh*tty 300MHz celeron.
Im getting a new stick of PC2100 ram tomorrow, I was going to add it to my existing ram but my mobo manual says those beeps are ram problems so it looks like i might be replacing the old ram now :(

i got the answer! i have my 1.4 OCed. Since the multiplier is locked on that board and you are upping FSB, you will have to increase the ram voltage. Use the jumper next to your HD cable slot. increase it to 2.9v that should fix it.

Upping the voltage that much on your RAM is NOT a good idea. I've already killed on stick doing that. (Though it does look kinda nice on my keychain. :))

Thelemac, how long did your ram last? Im running both 2x256Mb Crucial 2100 DDR sticks at 2.9v for like over a week. The extra overclocking potential is amazing.

I suppose I can down the voltage a little bit, but I wouldn't be able to get far on only 2.6-2.7v

i have the same problem with my intel 766... erh.. sorry.. wrong thread but still.. same problem

but thelemac you can't make your FSB go from 133 to 152 without increasing ram voltage.
