:welcome: to the forums.....
any chance you might upgrade the system? That's some pretty old stuff you're using......
If your mb will support pc3200, then pretty much any brand will be a help for your system.

that didn't answer my question
someone has told me to get 400mhz mem
but my mb specs just say 2100/266

or thats what soyo has listed

and i don't know if a faster ram will even run in mine

and yes... i built the box 4 years ago
i can't afford to build another at the moment

i just need more ram for running several appz together
i only have 384ram right now
i need a gig
i do webdesign
so if i got dreamweaver/flash open
and open adobe
adobe will crash cuz its not enough memory

so i just need to know whats compatable
will i benifit from 2700/3300 ?
or should i just stick with the 2100

i can't find no info on this
or i just don't know how to look it up

tx

You have a 133 FSB cpu so pc2100 is spec for that cpu. I would suggest jumping up to a decent set of pc2700 that way you have more room to play on the FSB, saying that your pc2100 probably won't overclock that high.

You should really read about timings and MHz that way you can decide on what tickles your fancy.
