I used to be able to change my memory timings from 2T to 1T when I only had
2x512 ocz 2-2-2-5 ram.
Now that I've upgraded to 4 x 512 ocz 2-2-2-5 ram (the sticks are the same
except ntune shows the ram as having different part numbers) I cannot got to
1T timings since the computer will not boot.
I've practically overlocked everyting else but I can't go to 1T.
I even made the bios to defaults and it still won't go to 1T timings.
Is this normal with four sticks or differnt part numbered ram?
my system
amd 3000 winchester
4x 512 ocz el platinum rev 2
chaintech vnf4 ultra ve nforce4 bios 3.0 and i've tried 5.0
ati x800 xl pci-e 256mb
samsung sata 2 w ncq 80g
audigy 2
lg dual layer dvd rw 4x
logitech 518x mouse
ps/2 keyboard
Thanks for your help it will be interessting to me.
