I have Googled and searched long and hard for a Vcore Volt Mod for MSI K8T Neo2-F. This is a AMD S939 VIAŽ K8T800 Pro Chipset. MSI Specs (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8T_Neo2-F&class=mb)

I just installed a Asetek WaterChill Dual Rad kit and have hit a VCORE Ceiling
at 1.55v (BIOS Limited) with my 3800+ X2 at 2700mhz (P95 Stable both cores).

I am confident that with 1.6 volts I could hit 2800mhz stable.

My CPU does 31 C max temp with above mentioned stats stressed.

Has anyone seen a VCORE mod for my mobo?

I have seen one for the Via K8T800 non pro but I have yet to confirm if both pro and non pro chipsets use same voltage IC.

Thanks for any of your input on this :bang head

best thing to do is check the PWM ics, they're probably the same. if not, get some pics where we can see the numbers on th chips, and hopefully we could find datasheets and derive something that would work for ya,

Ok I found a post about the KT800 non-pro MSI Socket 754 having an ISL6569CB chip and my board uses an ISL6559CB chip. Looked both up on google and found their specs on pdf.

Seems both need pin 10 and a 20K Vr to ground.

Worked but even at 1.625 volts my X2 3800+ @ 2800mhz was not prime stable.

It wasn't worth going higher in volts for too little reward.

Leave it at 2700mhz and 1.55v and be happy with it.

I hope my info can help any other MSI K8T Neo2-F owner for a volt mod for VCore

its good to hear that the mod worked, but sucks that you didnt get any returns. maybe theres like vdd mods or something that would help? maybe its the mobo or something else holdin you back not the cpu itself?

I came across this

crystalmark (http://crystalmark.info/)

When my Mobo is at the max bios Vcore of 15% = 1.55v

I can use Cyrstall CPUID to max it at 1.625v.

So this can help those get a little higher Vcore without the trouble of a volt mod.
