i have a FX-57 and dual 7800s and im also gonna cool the chipset
loop one using the 80mm rad: dual 7800s and chipset
loop two: using the 120mm rad: fx-57
Typhoon - Floppy Bay Reservoir
Typhoon - Quad Reservoir
ThermalTake 210 Flow Indicator
dual Eheim 1260 Pumps "one for each channel"
Black Ice Extreme - 120mm sunon fan for CPU only
Micro Black Ice 80mm fan for GPUs and chipset
dual ThermalTake 210 Flow Indicators "one for each channel"
dual ThermalTake T-Type H2o Temp Indicators "one for each channel"
is this setup good enough to cool my parts?

I would have to say it would indeed be enough to cool everything, but I'd also like to offer my opinion.
First, the reservoirs aren't really necessary. Assuming you are familiar with the pro's and con's of them, t-lines might save you some space (and might look better too).
Second, I would say ditch the chipset cooler and run a single loop, maybe using a D5 instead of the Eheim and a BIX2. The chipset coolers are an open debate, IMO not necessary. Unless you are itching to spend the extra cash, a single loop would be more economic.
Considering that you are getting flow and temp indicators, it seems like maybe you really do want to spend all the money and have a really fancy system. In that case, it will indeed be a fancy system.
Just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.
GL, be sure to post plenty of pics when you are done!

thanks for the info yes i will, i'll post pics when im tottaly finished, any one else have any comments on the setup?
get a prommie for the cpu and watercool the graphics cards :p..
Anyways - I wouldn't bother watercooling the chipset.. waste IMO.
If you need to replace the stock there's plenty of active solutions, plus it'd throw more heat into the loop..

ok am I missing something here but where are the blocks? Also that makes no sense I suggest one loop, dangerden maze 4 gpu on the two gpus, Swiftech Storm on the cpu, Swiftech MCP655 (or dangerden D5 its the same pump), a BIX2 or BIX3 (with 80cfm+ fans), and some 7/16" tubing with 3/32" wall (can be had on page 82 of www.mcmaster.com). Run it all in series and enjoy.

Holy ****!
Dudes like you should have like bars, or stripes in your signatures to signify your expertise/know how
Really, good advice.
I would add one thing though; I just ordered a DFI SLI rig X2 3800 with dual 7800GTX's. Right now, I have no intention of watercooling the 7800's. I mean, why? Now, if I do feel a need to OC them, to the point where water is needed, I will. I don't anticipate this need for a long time but I did order extra hosing (15') for the time that w/c'ing my vid cards becomes a reality.
The great thing about watercooling is that it lets you milk every last bit of goodness out of your hardware. of course there are more extreme ways to do the same, but for me, w/c does get me more than my $$$'s worth.

Thank you
The way I see it is yes you can just watercool the cpu in which case you would just delete the maze 4 blocks from the setup I listed and keep the rest the same. However why bother the two maze 4 blocks will cost you like $90 before shipping seems like a small amount of money in comparison to what was already spent. Next up if you substitute a BIP2 or BIP3 for the BIX2 or BIX3 and use quieter fans (under 80CFM) you can get a very effective low noise cooling solution. The final thing to consider is that I read on XS is that the 7800 cards like the airflow over them to cool areas besides the GPU (and ram if you get ram sinks). So I woud weigh all that and decide. Personally if you have the money I would go for a silent set up and just strap a slow spinning 80 or 92mm fan over the two cards. (Just remember to get the SLI version of the Maze 4 GPU block).
Sewer's recommendations are right in line with what I would say. A single loop is the way to go here. those 80mm rads don't cool much and sure won't be what you are looking for, much less using two pumps.

are you sayin the rads don't flow well enough or the fans suck? if any come on them

the problem with 80mm rads:
1) limited fan power, 80mm fans arn't known for their power
2) less surface area than a 120mm rad
These two things add up to make an 80mm radiator a pretty lousy choice for any large heat load. All in all if you look at my suggestions you have enough capacity for both gpus and a cpu. Also it will be cheaper overall because you only need one large rad instead of two. Finally one loop is safer than two because you have less connections so the odds of a leak go down. So stick with one loop and one large rad because going dual rad in one loop is not worth it cause its more restrictive.

ah ok, well heres my issue, my close only supports 1 120mm fan socket and 1 80mm fan socket and 1 80mm for the window
maybe there are other places to put rads, maybe? but i want it to look clean not just hanging off the side of the case..ya know?
